She was born March 29th 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the name given to her. of her. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Gerina has always been an avid sportsperson. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her secondary education. She was the winner of at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. She was a volleyball player and participated in state championships. She went to the University of Texas in 2003. Her senior year was a success. she was a winner in every tournament she participated. In her time at college she was awarded her Conference USA Player of The Year Award as well as The UTEP Female Sport Athlete Award.
