Katherine Heigl reveals with everyone regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it's had an impact on how she raises the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. Katherine Heigl, the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" star shared in a recent interview she was told that when it came to the color of her skin, she didn't care what she wore, but after she spoke to her older sister, whom she taken in from South Korea, she realized that society was different when it came to each of both. When I inquired of Meg how she was treated when in public, with or without our parents, she said it was distinct. Meg responded "Oh Yes! All the time!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She admitted to becoming frustrated, but decided use that anger in order to assist the adopted children she has. Heigl shares a son of 4 year with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. The couple took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
