In order to achieve her dream of becoming an actress, she moved in New York. She worked as a chef in a New York restaurant and was a part of Broadway productions. Her former husband Scott Foley met her on the television show "Felicity," where she appeared as a character. She got her big break in the action thriller "Alias." Her debut lead role as a character was the acclaimed love story "13 Thirty-something." She played a teenager who found herself stuck in the body of the 30-year-old.
