Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor who became famous in the role of Buffy Summers. Her other characters include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the Telefilm Nightingales & the short lived NBC Show with the same name; Erica Paget in Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. As a California native Swanson had a passion for acting as a young girl. She began her career in the field of commercials, in which she starred in several commercials. Her screen debut was on the episode of NBCs comedy sitcom, It's Your Move in the year 1984. The following year, in the romance comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 She made her major-screen debut. Swan is known for her lisp of blonde and her breathless voice. She's recently shifted from main roles to secondary characters. The actress won an award called the Young Artist Award in 1989 as the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Pictures for Flowers in the Attic.
